Samantha summered at McCague Borlack in 2025 and has returned as an articling student. She graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she excelled as a student caseworker at Barbara Schlifer Commemorative Clinic and the Community & Legal Aid Services Program. Samantha previously worked at Legal Aid Ontario, providing her with a broad and expansive understanding of the law in several fields. Through various experiences in mooting, as well as these clinical and experiential opportunities, she has developed strong research-based advocacy and client skills, along with a meticulous and strategic approach to problem solving.
Prior to her time at Osgoode, Samantha completed an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree through the Integrated Business and Humanities program at McMaster University, where she helped her debate team win first place in the national JDC Central Competition and was selected as Debate “All Star”. She also participated in the DeGroote Entrepreneurship case competition, having coded and pitched an application for individuals with high functioning autism, winning the best speaker award.
Samantha is a strong proponent of staying active, having played a variety of sports throughout her life and advocating for equality of opportunity to participate in sport through her role as ambassador of Motionball. She currently enjoys cycling, reading, and hiking!
