Draeden maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on civil and commercial matters. Although early in his career, he has already appeared before the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. Draeden takes pride in his meticulous, client-focused approach to advocacy. He is consistently striving to deliver strategic and effective outcomes while building on the skills he developed during his time as a summer and articling student.

During law school, Draeden honed his advocacy skills through extensive participation in moot court competitions, gaining valuable experience in drafting facta and presenting legal arguments before esteemed members of the legal community. He was also actively involved in student life, serving as President of the Queen’s Real Estate Law Association and captain of the Queen’s Law Hockey Team. His academic excellence was recognized with two Queen’s Law Prizes for achieving the highest grades in Introduction to Legal Skills and International Economic Law.

Outside of work, Draeden loves all things sports. He is an avid golfer and continues to keep his focus sharp by playing as a hockey goaltender.
