Callum is a JD candidate at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Common Law, with an expected graduation in 2027. His interest in dispute resolution and litigation developed during his first two years of law school, where he completed courses focused on trial advocacy and negotiation. In his second year, Callum was selected to represent his school at the provincial level in the annual Arnup Cup Trial Moot. Through his preparation for and participation in the competition, he developed a strong foundation in research, drafting, and core litigation skills.
Callum holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Studies from Queen’s University. During his time at Queen’s, he served as Vice President (University Affairs) of the Alma Mater Society, the university’s undergraduate student union. In this role, Callum represented over 20,000 students and worked to implement policies and programming aimed at improving the student experience. He continues to apply the skills and insights gained from this and other leadership roles in his legal work.
Outside of law, Callum enjoys finding new recipes to cook and share with family and friends. He also spends his time playing soccer and video games with friends.
