Aleksandra obtained her Bachelor of Arts (double major in International Political Science and French) from Concordia University in Montreal; her Bachelor's of Civil Law from the Université du Quebec in Montreal; and completed a national scholarship exchange program with Windsor Law School to earn her Bachelor of Laws in 2000.

Aleksandra is currently completing her Master of Laws in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution.

She joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor in 2001, to teach in the Legal Research and Writing program. She published a book through Butterworths entitled "Guide to Electronic Legal Research" in 2001 followed by a second edition in 2002.

Aleksandra was called to the Bar in 2003. She was on the Executive Board for the Insurance Law Group of the Ontario Bar Association (2007-2008), currently serving as its vice-chair (2008-2009; 2009-2010), is an executive member of the Insurance Law Group of The Canadian Bar Association (2008-2009), as well as an active member of The Advocates' Society and Canadian Defence Lawyers. She participates and chairs numerous CLE programs under the Ontario Bar Association. In addition, she serves on the Ontario Bar Association Insurance Law Section Awards Committee.
